In recent years, Edmund has played major roles in several feature films, all in post & due out soon: “Spoon”, starring Darren Boyd & Rutger Hauer, shot in South Africa; “Inner Calm”, with Orlando Seale & Shane Rimmer, on location in Kent & the Czech Republic, and “In the Sleep of Ignorance” shot in Brent Cross! Edmund has made a point of doing at least 1 stage play a year for the past 30 odd years. Favourite roles have included Prospero, Subtle in “The Alchemist” (Ben Jonson), Enoch Powell, the Biblical Job & Barney Cashman in “Last of the Red Hot Lovers”. Last autumn, he appeared in the premiere of “Between Friends” (written by Carolyn Pertwee & Ros Adler) in Barnes. TV credits include the childrens’ gameshow “Knightmare” (he was a red brick Wall Monster among others!), “The 10%ers”, “Oil Storm”, a drama doc for US TV, & Speer und Er”, for Bavariafilm. He is a regular reader on unabridged Audio Books, most recently Mervyn Peake’s “Gormenghast” trilogy. He has a Cambridge History degree, is a member of an actors’ choir.
